International Health Services Inc. (USHAŞ) Announcement Regarding International Health Tourism Patients' Permission to Enter Our Country During the COVID-19 Pandemic


As stated in the letter of the Ministry of Health General Directorate of Health Services dated 15.05.2020 and numbered 14500235-419-E.1097, patients and their relatives who will come to our country during the COVID-19 Pandemic will be registered in the patient follow-up system of USHAŞ. In this context, these patients should be registered in the patient tracking system at The rules regarding the use of the system and the pre-approval flow are as follows: Rules: 1. In order to register the patients, it is necessary to create a “user account” first. User accounts can be opened in the following 4 types. a. The patient himself b. The relatives of the patient c. Hospital D. Intermediary organization 2. User accounts of intermediary institutions and hospitals will become active with the approval of USHAŞ after the necessary checks are made. 3. A maximum of 2 companions can register with the patient. 4. After registering a patient, the same patient (passport / ID number) will not be registered as a duplicate. Pre-approval flow 1. The user account is created. 2. Within the scope of health tourism, patients who want to be treated in our country are registered. The following information about the patient is requested in this area: a. Patient information Name, surname, foreign language, phone, e-mail address, nationality, identity number, passport number, date of birth, gender, country of passport, date of validity, which country to come from, which border gate to enter, b. Medical information of the patient Covid-19 PCR test result report (“upload file” in this field) option and link sharing such as “we transfer” for large files.) c. Hospital patient admission certificate This document is included in the system as a template. The document signed by the hospital authorities, indicating that the patient will be admitted to the relevant hospital, must be uploaded to the system. D. Commitment and consent form of the patient This form is included in the system as a template. The form must be signed and uploaded to the system by the patient and his companion. Companion information Name surname, date of birth, e-mail address, phone number, passport number, validity date and commitment to be signed for the companion and the companion's Covid-19 PCR test result (if applicable in the relevant country) - A maximum of 2 companions associated with a patient will be allowed to be registered. - All fields will be required. 3. Once registered patients are evaluated for suitability, they are accepted or rejected by USHAŞ. 4. In case of rejection of the patient, the reason for rejection is sent to the user who registered the patient and the patient via e-mail. 5. In case of acceptance of the patient, a copy of the permission letter is sent to the user and the patient who registered the patient by e-mail. For patient records sent to the USHAŞ approval, the results will be sent to the patient and the patient registrant by e-mail within 24 hours at the latest. Patients will be accepted only in the following branches: - Orthopedics and traumatology, general surgery, pediatric surgery, urology, ophthalmology, cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, surgical oncology, gynecological oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, neurosurgery, hematology, intensive care and reproductive therapy applications, organ transplant and bone marrow transplant 3. Hospitals where patients and their companions will be admitted must have the following conditions: a. Must have an International Health Tourism Authorization Certificate issued by the Ministry of Health. b. It should include Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance (MR). c. In its license and operating license; chest diseases or internal diseases, child health and diseases, infectious diseases and branches of clinical microbiology or medical microbiology. D.
